Last week, Ortho Development hosted its ODEV Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Course in Salt Lake City, Utah. A group of fellows and senior residents from around the country participated in an intensive learning experience.
The course boasted insightful discussions led by distinguished orthopedic surgeons, Drs. Zachary D. Post, Justin T. Deen, Christopher W. Grayson, Marc W. Hungerford, Matthew C. Morrey and Richard G. Vlasak. Faculty members delved into a comprehensive range of topics crucial for success in joint replacement surgeries, including best practices for optimizing knee and hip replacement techniques, implant selection and considerations, pre-operative strategies, infection management, enabling technology, transition to ambulatory surgical care (ASC), and more.
The ODEV Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Course provided fellows and senior residents a unique opportunity to showcase their learnings through presentations of their experiences and receive feedback from peers and faculty. Open Q&A sessions with the faculty fostered an environment of knowledge exchange and encouraged critical thinking and consideration of diverse philosophies.
To further enhance the learning experience, the course concluded each day with networking events, allowing participants to build valuable connections with peers and experts in the field.
Ortho Development continues to be a valuable resource for medical education in joint replacement.
