Medical and Dental Insurance
As an employee you may utilize our medical insurance coverage that requires no premium for individual or family coverage. With Ortho Development's dental plan, the cost of the insurance is completely covered by Ortho. Under this plan, you may elect to visit any dentist, which allows you to select a dentist that will meet your needs, while not being required to go to a certain list of dentists.
401(k)
After the six-month grace period of being employed at Ortho Development Corporation you have the option to invest in a 401(k) retirement plan that is managed by Merrill Lynch. Ortho Development currently matches $.50 / $1.00 up to 7% of your investment.
Personal Time Off (PTO)
There are no sick or vacation days at Ortho Development, but, rather, personal time off. This benefit amounts to 15 days of personal time off per year that can be used at your discretion for either sick or vacation days. After you are employed with Ortho for 5 years your PTO days will increase to 20 days per year.
Holidays
Ortho Development annually celebrates the following holidays: President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Career Development Opportunities
You will have many opportunities for career development including the Educational Assistance Program. This program includes a reimbursement to the employee of 75% of the cost of tuition, required texts, and related fees for courses not mandated by Ortho Development Corporation, to a maximum reimbursement of $3,000 each school year.
Section 125 Cafeteria Plan
This flexible spending account allows you to take pre-tax dollars to pay for approved medical, dental, vision, hearing, and dependent care expenses that you may receive throughout the calendar year, up to $5,000 per year.
Bonus
All employees have the opportunity to collect a quarterly bonus. Bonuses are paid depending on company, department, and individual performance measures.
